As the youngest of 7 children in the Delmare family, Tyler was often overlooked by his parents. He would spend his time swimming around the Undersea city of Scyton, often getting into trouble for exploring where he wasnt meant to.

One day, while exploring, he had found a weird glowing spot on the ground. It started sucking him in like a whirlpool as he approached it. Suddenly, the Triton kid who had never left the bounds of his hometown, was all alone like a... well fish out of water (literally).

Looking around he saw nothing but wood. Tyler was on a ship. One of those things he sometimes saw pass by up above. Hearing voices, he immediately hid and stowed away as it set sail. He had been transported aboard the Stormbreaker, the ship of the Stormkeeper Pirates.

Despite being 10, he has already gone through (some of) puberty because of a curse that aged him up to 16 years old
